Very Large Antique Chinese Lacquered Partner's Desk

This quite old and beautifully lacquered piece features original 19th Century hand forged draw pulls on all fourteen drawers. Another unusual feature is that there are drawers on three sides, rather than just two. The old lacquer itself is silky, with great depth. A bit taller than standard desk height, the heavy top lifts off and rests on the two cabinet bases.
